With nearly two decades of partnership between us, Oberlin College once again asked Colortone to produce their 2025 Commencement ceremony. Overcoming rainy weather with ease during load-in, Colortone delivered a flawless outdoor ceremony that made sure each graduate was seen, heard, and celebrated, yet again.

Oberlin College has a rich and storied history, so ensuring their Commencement ceremony each year honored that tradition while being a streamlined celebration of its graduates was crucial. Traditionally held outdoors at Tappan Square, Colortone coordinated a mobile stage and ramps for a smooth flow of graduates as they accepted their diplomas. Along with a custom podium insert that integrated event flow software, Colortone meticulously planned the event’s schedule, adjusting as needed. When it rained on setup day, the team held strong and made sure the stage, audio equipment and large LED wall were properly secured in the event of more rain.
Our support in 2025 extended beyond Commencement Day. When Oberlin needed a venue for their Commencement Milestone Reunion Weekend, Colortone transformed the Heisman fieldhouse into an inviting event space ready to give alumni a warm welcome back.
Working with Colortone lightens that load in ways that are truly invaluable. I know I can count on them to help us create meaningful, memorable experiences as we celebrate what matters most—our graduates.
